What do you do for cravings?

So I have been really good for a couple of days - eating right and exercising. Out of the blue right now, I get this craving for chocolate chip cookies. I don't plan on giving in (yet) but don't know what to do to get my mind off of it. What do you do when you get cravings?

If they don't pass after a healthy snack I usually allow myself 1,,,and only 1....that way I don't go binge eating and eat a whole pack of something later...0

Hah, funny. I either exercise MORE to offset the plan for cookies OR I try to think "I'm too lazy to MAKE cookies." Before I know it, another day is here and either it is another craving or again, I exercise to PLAN for those cookies!!!0

Try to eat a few in moderation then move on. This should kill it.0

haha, I've had the most INSANE cravings for cookies for the past few days... so this last time when I was at the grocery store, instead of buying my usual granola to put on my yogurt, I bought one of those mini chocolate chip cookie cereals. It's about the same calorie count actually, and I found a brand with high fiber - whole grains, etc. Plus, it satisfies my craving!!

Instead of trying to eat/drink healthier stuff, doing something unrelated to eating might work better for some people. Something to take your mind off eating, like completely. Exercising, reading a book, (TV/movies might not be the best since some people tend to munch while watching the screen...) video games, shopping, singing, dancing... etc.0

Go shopping and when things don't fit right...the cookies and cravings suddenly disappear.0

I keep a tin of the Godiva dark chocolate pearls in my desk. When I have a super craving I eat one. If that doesn't work I eat two!0

As long as it's something that I don't go nuts eating, I work it into my food plan.0

I usually give myself a small portion of what I am craving that way I don't binge on the whole box of cookies

Thanks everyone. My cookie craving is not as strong I think I will put it off till my break time. I usually do well with just giving myself 1 then stopping. I once had a Taco-Bell regualer taco craving for a month (i never even eat regular tacos) by the time I gave in I was like this isnt that great.0
