I'm in the process of getting a new HRM so I don't have that to rely on to tell me how many cals I burned? What should I put in for a strength/cardio class?

Depends on the class and your size and effort...
I'm 5'7, 175 lbs, regularly do a strength cardio class (muscle fusion) with a HRM and its about 350-400cals an hour, if that helps at all! I think the "light aerobic activity" MFP category was closest for me.0 -
I'm 5'6" and 153 and I normally burn about 350-375 calories in an hour doing that type of exercise. When i do spinning class, I burn 450-575 depending on the teacher . Hope that helps.0
