I can't do this alone, and while I have AMAZING friends here, I need someone who will check in with my almost every day to keep me on track. I'd love to build a bond with someone. I need someone who I can be honest with, who understands what I'm going through and isn't afraid to verbally abuse me when I need it (Lol)!! I just need someone who is willing to look out for me and let me do the same for them. General support from a group of people is great, but I need a more one on one person..

I've been totally slacking since my fiance reached his goal weight and stopped worrying about dieting, he doesn't worry about mine either. I know it's not his responsibility, but it was a million times easier to do this when I had someone to check in with, someone who would tell me a made a bad choice. I need to find that person again.

Soo, if anyone else needs someone to complain to and b*tch at, then let me know because I could use a kick in the butt to get me headed in the right direction again.

Ideally, I'd love to find someone with similar (not necessarily identical) goals as mine. I'm a 22 year old girl who currently weighs around 185ish (I haven't weighed in a while). I'm 5'3 so I'd like to weigh about 125-130lbs eventually. I've just made the decision to focus on losing 10lbs by my birthday in August.. I'm hoping to find another woman with at least 30lbs to lose, but I'm not super picky right now!

Thanks!!
xx

I know I am part of the group, but I will not feel bad to tell you that you ate pure crap. I am like that as well. I WANT someone to give it to me when they see I haven't worked out in a few days.

But, I'm ....31 and 203 pounds. I have a ton to lose, as you can see. If my memory serves me right, you are in canada right? I hope I didn't stick my foot in my mouth... lol

It can definitely be discouraging when your weight loss buddy packs it in (for whatever reason - goal or not) I hope you find your perfect weight loss friend. You seem to know what works for you, and that's a great thing.

I am 36, currently weigh at 175 and I am looking to drop about 40 pounds. I am very competitive and can be a real "B" when I need to be :) Can't we all? lol I am really needing to lose the weight and I tend to slip and get frustrated and give up. I need someone to keep me accountable as well. The older I get the harder it is and it just makes it easier for me to give up and stay at this weight, which I really dont want.
  • I completly understand I'm in the same situation I
Need someone that can be honest with me when I
Make bad choices and start slacking and to keep me
Motivated I'm also 5'3 and want to lose about 30
Pounds my current weight is 154. I just started this
Yesterday and I hope it helps me reach my goal.
  • I'm 5'3" and I currently weigh 165lbs. I need to lose about 50lbs to reach my goal of 115lbs - 120lbs. I'm one of those people that tend to lose motivation easily if I don't receive motivation by others. That's one of the reasons I like MFP so much. My boyfriend and I are currently on this weight loss journey together, so I completely understand having someone push you and make you accountable for your decisions. It'd be hard not to have that support system! I hope I reach my goal before he reaches his! Otherwise, I'm in trouble!
