Calorie burning for fitness classes like Bodyworks

A big part of my weight loss success has been attending classes at my neighborhood YMCA, like Bodyworks, Bodyworks Bosu, Bodypump, etc. I'm the type who needs to put the 6pm class on my calendar.. then I won't miss it. If I know I need to hit the elliptical tonight, somehow it gets pushed off and pushed off and I don't go.

SO with the exercise accountability tool here on MFP, how do you all account for classes like Bodyworks? I don't think it's as intense as a step class.. so, so far I've been putting it down as "aerobics."

Any advice?

    The best thing I ever did was buy a HRM with a chest strap. I kept putting it off, but when I started to GAIN instead of lose, I had a feeling that mfp calories burned were not what my calories burned were. It was under 100 bucks and I haven't regretted it yet.

    Jenn, did you find there to be a big difference between the MFP counts and your HRM?

    Yes, a few hundred calorie difference, actually. Eeek!
