I've hit some major plateau 135.6- 136.6 and not budging. If I had lost even a fraction of an inch from my belly, I think I would feel happier. I think maybe I'm trying to save calories for treats in the evening-- but ugggg...
I'm ready for the humble pie- what should I do now? I was doing so good in the beginning- my lack of will-power on vacation botched my progress- now what? My baby sis's wedding is coming in 2 and a half weeks- sigh.... what's the best I can hope for?

4-5 lbs is the best you can hope for in 2 weeks. You arent logging consistently so the days you have logged look OK on cals but theres no telling what you ate the days you didnt log, also since you have extras on your diary you might want to trade one out for sodium real quick, Looking at someof your food options Im guessing theres a half decent amount of sodium in your diet. Whats your daily water intake like? And what is your excercise routine like?0

Hi! I agree with Heather....your sodium looks kind of high to me on the days you did log. I would start tracking sodium for sure and keep it under and increase your water drinking which will flush some water weight. I'd stay away from anything processed for awhile to since those foods have high sodium. Try to eat as clean as you can with lots of fresh fruits and veggies. You don't have that much to lose so the weight isn't going to come off super fast but doing these few things may make you drop a few pounds. Chug that water girl!! Good luck to you:)0

Doing well on water... less well on exercise. Muscular problem... but I could be trying harder to do what my therapist suggests. I'll take that. What do you mean switch one out for sodium? Should I be having more or less sodium?0

Hi Paced!
I have a lot of trouble when I eat a snack in the evening, even if I save up the calories for it. when the scale moves for me is when I go for a walk - leisurely - in the evening. Seems to put me over the edge to get the scale moving after a couple of days.
I've heard people on this site say to front load your calories in the day and eat less at night. It would probably work for me if I could avoid food after dinner, but I know I can't. So out I go. My golden loves me for it.
Another responder mentioned "swapping out" tracking something for sodium. I think you can track up to 5 things. I added sodium and fiber to my tracking. Look under food, then settings.
Don't give up!!0 -

The recommended daily limit is 2500, Honestly I try to stay below 1500, sodium can cause belly bloat (making you appear larger) as well as water retention. If you are going over 2500 you need to be drinking massive amounts of water (Im talking 12-14 glasses) to keep from retaining and bloating. You are tracking sugar.... and one other one (cant look whiel typing this) Id swap out the sugar one for sodium on your customization0 -
Sodium and belly bloat huh?! Wow! Super helpful because that is my main area! I started this process because even though I feel thin, I was being asked if I was pregnant. OUCH! Even with my weightloss my stomach still feels super prominant to me so I will really take that to heart! Thanks! Anything else guys?0

I just read while ago that by drinking 8-10 ice cold glasses of water a day, your body will burn 250-500 calories a day cooling the water down to your body temperature.. Wow! Water was really hard for me at first but now I drink it like crazy all day. Sounds like you are doing good on the water though. Just try and avoid excessive salt,, makes us ladies bloat up like a balloon lol.0

Ok so I went back through May so I could see more days lol. You do eat alot of sodium in about half the days you have logged. SO the next 2 weeks i would really devote yourself to logging everything and trying to stay under 1500 in your sodium and drinking 8-10 glasses of water. Protein takes longer (and more energy) to digest so this will help keep you full. Raw fruits and veggies will be your friend they also help flush "toxins" out of your system. Avoid beans, pasta, broccolli, basically any foods that give you gas (bloating) and avoiding refined (white) carbs also helps because it basically automatically causes you to have a higher fiber and more natural diet and also the provessed carbs have higher sugar levels. Lunch meats, cottage cheese are huge culprits of sodium.0

Also this is another idea which worked for me. Depending on how you have been doing 1200 calories a day, your body might need a metabolism boost. I upped my calories from 1200(1 lb a week loss) up to 1380 (1/2 lb a week loss) and I started losing again. Just like in the beginning when we see good results with reduced calories our bodies gets used to the same calories in also and since you don't have that much to lose, it might be a good idea to raise your calorie intake. I raised mine over a month ago and I'm seeing great results. You can do this!!:)0
