Anyone tried Carbogram Diet?

Before I start I would like to point out that I am not a compulsive dieter that switches to every new diet and have only ever calorie counted (because it does work)
The problem I have is that after calorie counting for 3 years on and off I have now started to eat badly while remaining in my calories (cakes, chocolate etc) because they are all I can think about (despite not been interested in these things before I dieted!)
So I came across the Carbogram diet in a recent magazine and decided to research online. It sounds good and I think it would be good for me to concentrate on something other than calories in order to make myself eat healthy and regular meals and stop the binges.

Basically you stay under 150 carbograms (carbohydrate grams) a day but eat healthy protiens (not fatty).

I am sceptical to stop calorie counting (although because of my unhealthy habits it does not work so well for me anymore).

Has anyone else had similar experience and did swapping work or not?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me on this
