So, I just started Insanity and week one didn't go so well. I had two interrupted workouts and couldn't finish them. Today is my rest day and I feel pretty good, so I was going to make one up today and another on Sunday, when I also do Cardio Recovery. Bad idea? I just hate knowing that I am down two workouts ALREADY.

I finished Insanity at the end of May. Take your rest day and enjoy it...you will need it!!! If anything, you could rework the schedule, meaning, do one of the workouts that you "missed" and then push your rest day till tomorrow. But do not skip your rest day.0

Good Idea.
It would only be a bad idea, IMO, if you felt burnt out and NEEDED the rest and were denying yourself of that just to "catch-up". But, if you're feeling up for it, why not right? It can't hurt.0 -
i rarely take a rest day, and when i do, i take a looooong walk.
on p90x you're supposed to take a rest day every 7th day, but i never did. i would also use that day to make up work outs if i didn't finish one etc... as long as you feel like you can, then do it!
i only legitimately took a day off when i had pain that was strong enough to convince me to not work out. i sometimes was glad that i couldn't work out haha but on average, i take 1-2 days off per month.
good luck!0
