Thigh exercises

Hello everyone! I always lose the weight on my thighs last. Which isn't a huge deal, but I still have that cellulose dimpling, regardless of the fact I'm getting fairly close to my goal weight. I hear I need to do thigh toning exercises. Anyone know a good exercise I can do in the evenings on the floor in front of the TV to help smooth it out? I have an exercise ball and some leg weights. No resistance bands though. Thanks!

Squats
lunges (forward, side, and reverse)
single leg squats
single leg dead lifts.
all should be performed with as much weight as possible. For weight you can always use a gallon jug with sand, or you can buy some cheap dumbbells.
Form is vital for these, make sure you look up form first, and always try it out in a mirror a few times first to make sure you're getting the form right.0 -

Holy crap! Regular deadlifts are hard enough.0 -

bahh! These are awesome exercises. You can hold something with them at first (like a cane or a ski pole or something), great for the stabilizer muscles and ligaments in the knees too, for those of you who feel pain in the front of the knee when you bend, these stabilizers are most likely the cause. Because the side ligaments (MCL ACL, PCL) are weak and/or loose, they allow to much pressure on the joint and to much side flex, which causes pain and instability.0 -
Thanks for the ideas. I'll try to start encorporating some tonight. I just want easy things I can do while watching TV without getting ramped up enough I can't sleep.
And... I completely forgot the fact that my knees creak, pop, and eventually get sore whenever I attempt standing leg exercises. I even made the physical therapist for my hip cringe a little. Pretty sure it's the reason I avoid them. Thanks for the stabilizer ideas. I'll have to go easy at first until I get the muscles strengthened. Bless my mom and her hyperextension genes.0
