Hi!

I downloaded the app yesterday and checked out the site.
I think it's really cool!
I've never counted calories before and when I entered my breakfast I was blown away by how much calories I ate!

My goal is to lose 10 pounds, I want to lose them gradually and keep them off!

I do have a question..
I'm supposed to eat 1200 net cals. if I make sure to eat that much do I have also eat the equivalent of the cals I burned off doing exercise?
For example if I burned 300 cals running do I have to eat 1500 cals that day? Or would I be okay sticking to the 1200?

Good luck to everyone and thanks ahead

Yes, This is a cool site. The answer to this question is debatable. Many would say eat the 1500, that you need to net 1200. I personally think this depends on the person. I have seen some people gain when they eat their exercise calories back. Try it both ways and see what works best for you.
  • It does seem to defeat the purpose of working out and then eating it back. However, you need the energy to burn the fat.

Yes we love the site too. Going with logic you can eat those 300 cal more, but loose weight faster and easier when not eating those 300 cal. But the body is not always logic so try what you feel most comfortable with. Sometimes it is just nice to know that you could eat that extra piece of food, but you don't have to. Good luck!

Hello, I love this site too! It has made everything so much easier!

The calculations give the calories back to eat, therefore, keeping you at the 1200 per day.
I just started tracking on this site around fives days ago. Hopefully, I won’t gain weight for eating the calories back.

    Stay focused and Good luck!!
