calorie counter & pedometer

I have been walking around my neighborhood and on some park trails. I would like to be able to see how far I walked and what amount of calories I burned. Can any one recommend a good calorie counter / pedometer? I have looked online and after reading reviews of some that I thought would work, people listed them as not good. Any suggestions?

Do you have a smart phone? I'd recommend a GPS app for your phone and heart rate monitor.0

I bought the Omron Go Smart Tri-Axis pedometer and found it to be great and has excellent reviews.

I would suggest the BodyBugg or the Body Media ones! They track everything! Also, if you have an iTouch you can use the Nike app that comes with it, just have to by the chip (I just got mine for $23) It's nice to have the actual calories burn number!
Good luck on what you decide! keep up the great work!!0
