I have always been raw sugar is better for you then normal sugar.... what about sweetener? It's not as natural as raw sugar is it? Some input would be greatly appreciated.... Im missing having cups of tea because I don't know what to use!!

I personally don't think that artificial sweetener is a good idea since it is like poisen. Some natural "Sweeteners" that are pretty healthy are Stevia and Agave nectar. Check them out and see if you like them.

I use honey to sweeten my tea- maybe that is something you can try?

raw sugar is best, sugar next, then sweetener - as I've always been told by doctor and nutritionist. Your body knows how to break down sugar. All the chemicals and 'extras' in sweeteners are foreign to your body & its natural abilities.

If you're going to have the sweet, have the real stuff. As I noticed this morning on my food diary, 1tsp of sugar has LESS sugar in it than 9 medium strawberries. Its only 15 calories. Unless you're swallowing it raw by the tablespoon, its okay.

Use the real stuff, log it, and enjoy your tea.
