Bananas are very good for you! I don't know why anybody would tell you different.0

They are not as bad as eating chocolate cake, but they are higher on the glycemic index. 1/2 of a medium banana is actually 1 serving.0

I don't really like bananas, but I eat them anyway! At least 1, if not 2, per day. They are great health food!0

umm, chocolate cake? seriously? Bananas do have natural sugar and they are a carb but I would pick the banana over chocolate cake any day, well, maybe not any day, lol. I don't eat "clean" or natural but you can never go wrong with eating something in its natural form as opposed to something processed.0

You do need to watch your potassium and sugar level when eating bananas ( everyday eating). Beside that, they are very healthy for you as they keep you feeling more full.0

lots of potassium. Great snack since it comes in its own wrapper. Its a runners best snack0

They are higher then other fruits in carbs and sugars but they are still healthy for you, they have lots of potassium which is good for your muscles I think if you eat 1 a day at work its perfectly fine, its a natural fruit, not a processed dessert like cake.0

Bananas are not bad for you! Yes, they are a little higher in sugar than other fruit but they are high in potassium, which is great for preventing and treating leg cramps.0

Besides bananas are full of potassium which helps with fatigue.0 -
I love them too. I am positive they don't have a much fat as cake. Can't get rid of all ur sugars and pleasures. Just have ur banana as long as it's in ur calorie goals.0

the calories for a large banana is 110,,the calories for a small piece of cake is 330...
and banana is a natural sugar.....and high in potassium...keep eating your banana's0 -
Not to many over weight monkeys...And they are pretty strong!0

I love bananas! I use to think that they were too high in carbs and sugar compared to other fruits, but I've gotten over that and they are a staple in my diet now. I like to freeze them and add them to my post workout shakes or I chop them up and make a banana pb&j sandwich. They are overall are really yummy, especially when frozen0
