Hey Guys,
Why do the calories you consume change as you put in your exercise for the day? Like mine went up about 550 from putting in my routine that I did today.
Thank you for your help,
Katie

You are free to consume the calories you burn in exercise. MFP is set up for you to do just that so it adds those calories into your goals for the day. The more you exercise, the more you can eat, while still maintaining your set calorie deficit, which is based on the goals you entered into MFP.0

sfoust66 is right. I woulb be careful though. I usually just eat 100-200 more than my 1200 cal goal when I exercise even if I burn 500, because I'm not sure the number of calories burned is accurate. Good Luck!0
