ugh...have lost 28 pounds in a little over 2 1/2 months, and not a pound since June 6th, not one! I don't know what I need to do to boost my weight loss again. I am still exercising, still eating right (with a couple of cheats here and there, I mean, I was out of town and had ice cream, big deal!!!). Do I need to change up my exercise, eat different things??!?!?!?!

Any suggestions would be GREAT! Thanks!

I am in the same boat as you. I lost 25 lbs. since March but my weight is staying there and I can't lose any more. I had that much lost back in May, and it's been in a slump every since then. Let me know if you find any good ideas, and good luck!

Yes, it sounds like your body is needing something. Unfortunately there is no ONE answer. It could be needing more calories. It may mean looking closely at your food diary to see what can be improved. It may mean indulging in something with a higher fat content. Bodies plateau for a reason. Try new foods and different exercises until you find out what your body needs. Make it a fun process and enjoy experimenting! I just did the same thing last week to find out what would get me off a 5-6 week plateau. It took 7 days of having a chocolate snack in the evening. Nothing else in my routine changed. Weird, huh? Who knew my body needed the extra fat and sugar that I had been keeping pretty low for the past few months. :) Hope that helps!

If it helps, I wrote out the chocolate experiment here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/bjohs/view/plateau-vs-chocolate-who-won-116497

I’d say get a new exercise routine! Your body might be used to the same exercises that you’re doing and just needs a boost.

Maybe even search the internet and find some new recipes.
