Been here about a week, figured I should make an intro post. I have two beautiful babies, my girl is 3 1/2, my boy is 16 months. I'm a SAHM so I spend my days playing dolls, snuggling, going to various play dates, meal planning, couponing, cooking, cleaning, wiping noses, changing diapers, singing silly songs, reading stories etc. etc. I love every minute of it too. (Well, not the ones where somebody is screaming, but other than that I'm good) Before I was a SAHM I was in the Navy. I liked it, until I had DD. Then my priorities changed and I decided to get out when my enlistment was up.

I'm married, but in the past two years, I've spent the better part of my time alone w/ my kids. Hubby was frequently out of town for work, and when he wasn't he was usually working 14 hr days to support us. Luckily he's changed jobs recently, so he'll be home more. I was taking care of everybody else, but I wasn't taking care of me. I haven't had any one around to watch the kids so I could get some work out time in, and I gave up completely when I accidentally kicked DD in the face trying to do aerobics in the living room, and don't even get me started on doing floor work, I get down and they both think I'm a horsey... So that's been my cop out for a while now..Then, I pretty much went from babe to blob without realizing it. I'm trying to work on that before things get REALLY out of hand.

I've got my goal set to lose 50lbs, but right now I just want to focus on those first 5. Then I'll worry about the next 5. I tend to get discouraged if I look at the big picture, so I'm just gonna baby step it, 5 lbs at a time.

Welcome! Baby-stepping it is what I'm doing as well, I'm just focusing on it pound by pound.. much easier that way.
