THURSDAY 6/23 MINI CHALLENGE = SQUATS!

Tuesday = 150+ (or add 30 to your previous best?) SQUATS!

To log, 5 sets or less = calestenics, otherwise strength training.

Level 1 = against a wall (can use an exercise ball or towel to slide down wall)

Level 2 = air squat

Level 3 = with weights

Sets of 20-30 and you can break them up!

Post back when you are done by midnight with what you accomplished :)

At least post how many you could do, even if you only get to 40, we all have to start somewhere :) and please- if 220 is a piece of cake for you then do as many as you can to failure, otherwise it's not really a "challenge" right? :)

So who's in? You CAN do this!

    I'll give this a go - 150 seems daunting (a while ago I used to do just one set of 20 - along with other moves) but since I can break it up, I'll try to do them all throughout the day! :)

    I did squats today, I did 2 sets of 225 first set was 5 reps and the second, I failed after 3 reps

    I'm in! One way that I've used in the past to get them in is to do 15-20 every time I go to the bathroom, you'll be amazed at how many you get done.

    I do them every time I go to the bathroom as well, it all adds up, I'm in for 200+ today!

    Haven't done any squats since Monday, so it's a good day for it. I'll see how many I can fit in today. :)

    Ok, made it to 150 during my lunch time workout. :)

    50 regular squats with 15 pound dumbbell in each hand
    50 sumo squats with a 25 pound plate
    50 one-legged squats (25 each leg)

    Thanks for the challenge, I definitely needed the motivation to push it today.

    I'm done! I did at least 150 do P90X Plyometrics. OMGosh, jumping jack squats kicked my butt!
  • Okay, so I did 125 throughout the day. And then god knows how many trying out Slim in 6 Start it up with a friend. And I've still got 36 or so to do in P90, which should put me over 200. ^___^ Thanks for the challenge.

    I'm at 60 and I don't know if I can do anymore. I did a bunch yesterday and right now my legs are not happy lol.

    I got 60 in with 6 sets of 10 over bathroom breaks... my legs were not happy with me since on Tues I over worked them. I haven't been sore in my thighs for 3 months, but I was the last two days :cry: but it is just weakness leaving the body making me stronger :wink:

    I almost forgot about the challenge, but then as I was watching Biggest Loser I remembered. I ended up doing Squats during the commercials :smile:

    did 225 (maybe more! my daughter was counting and lost count after 75 and the last number i remembered was the 75 so i just did 150 more. next time she counts i am turning the tv off lol
