I only started about 11 days ago, but have upped my exercise significantly ( I was doing almost nothing before). Before I was always hungry and craved sweets, chocolate and coffee. Suddenly I don't have these cravings any more which is great but I seem to be losing my appetite and I have read that you need to consume your calories plus at least half your exercise calories. Is that true, even at the beginning of a regime? I have 56lbs to lose. Any advice/recommendations gratefully accepted!

my suggestion , having looked at your diary would be to plan ahead and balance your meals more evenly, i noticed you have a very small breakfast , a bigger breakfast in my opion would be a good idea!

have look at other peoples diary , mines not perfect but it is open .. oh and WATER drink at least 8 glasses of water!

Good luck on your journey

I peaked quickly at your diary and would also recommend a bigger, more wholesome breakfast! You don't need a lot of calories to make a filling, well-rounded breakfast and this will give you more fuel for your day. If you're worried about filling out your calories but are not feeling like you want to eat more than you are, I'd recommend utilizing some of those yummy good fats like avocado, nuts and olive oil to fill out the calories.

    Also, drink more water! ;)

I have a similar problem at the minute, although my lack of appetite comes from a period of illness quite recently, and a sickly tummy.

Someone told me to eat little and often. It's not really possible for me, due to the nature of my job, but it could work for you...

Thanks for the advice! Not sure I will have time for a bigger breakfast ...and it does seem to go against the grain! Any ideas for healthy choices?

Easy Microwave Eggs -- These were the first things I ever learned to cook when I was a child, mostly, I think so that my mom didnt have to do it.

Spray a microwaveable bowl (little 6inch Corning bowls are my favorite!) with cooking spray. Crack in two eggs and a little bit of skim milk. Beat with a fork until well mixed, but not too much. Microwave for 1 1/2 minutes. Top with a tiny amount of salt & peppper!

    No pan to clean!
