A friend and I started working on losing weight on Monday. (I have a total of 17 pounds I want to lose, she only has 5) It started with she wanted to be able to pass the Army Physical Fitness Test but has turn her obsessed with her pounds. I told her about this website (thinking it would help her to not crash diet) but after she looked at my account she decided it was to much work since she doesn't have Internet at home (understandable). I found out yesterday that she made an appointment with the doctor to talk about diet pills (she wants to try Alli). Nothing I do can change her mind and her doctor (well he's crap because last time he told her it would be ok as long as she felt fine!)
Any suggestions?

Be a positive influence for her but let her walk her journey her way. Make sure all of your conversations are not judgemental, or make her wrong about her decisions. Be honest with her about your about healthy eating, healty lifestyle, exercise and show her how it can be done right by example not by your words.0

Invite her to exercise with you.
I have a friend who is the same way. She keeps telling me what I am doing is obessive, yet she gains and I lose.
So just love her.Invite her to exercise with you. Invite her to a healthy meal-tell her about the recipes.
This is all you can do. :flowerforyou:0
