Today I've started to suffer with a bad cold and I'm feeling very blergh :( I'm starting a new job on monday, which is 7am-4pm everyday and I want to feel fresh and well for it! What is the best way to feed a cold? Any particular foods that will help me get rid of this cold asap? :)

Yuck, sorry. I'm just starting to recover from my cold today, here's what I've been doing to keep it in check:

    - Drink plenty of water, more than MFP's 8 cups a day if you can manage.
    - No dairy, it makes the congestion worse.
    - Cut back on sugar, too, I've found that it makes me feel a lot worse during a cold.
    - Eat a lot of nutrient-rich vegetables, and be sure to get a lot of vitamin C.

Whenever I start to come down with cold symptoms I eat a grapefruit, drink gallons of water, then have my regular meal with some tea and honey and then take as many naps as I can.

Unfortunately with colds (assuming you mean the rhinovirus) you really just have to let it run its course. The vitamin C and honey and making sure you let your body rest and eating the nutrients necessary for a healthy immune system will help your immune system do its best, but ultimately, you'll have to wait it out.
