Ok so I am reading everybody's post in the fitness section of this site and it sounds like these three videos are really popular (Turbo, Insanity, and P90X). So I searched it online on where to purchase it. It looks a little pricey and it looks likes you have to order it online. Man! Do you all know where I can purchase it at and how much it is? This would help me out so much. I get off at 5 pm and I have so much driving to do when I get off until I get home. I usually jog up and down my drive while my daughter plays wii inside. But sometimes it is so hot and when it does cool off from the rain...the bugs eat me alive while I am jogging. I have thought about purchasing a treadmill but I don't have that kind of money right now. So I really need to find something I can do inside that will burn alot of calories and tone me. Any suggestion? Tell me about those workout videos? Thanks alot!!!

There are actually quite a few..they may not be as "popular" as the three you mentioned, however, if you go to amazon.com and look up fitness DVDs or exercise DVDs you will find several. Depending on your level, there are usually some good selections. They have the kickboxing ones, running/walking in place, dance ones, zumba, even hula workouts, they have more tough ones (like the kickboxing or boot camp types). I've heard the 30 day shred is a good one too. (I've been wanting to try it). You might be able to rent them first if you just want to try them out through blockbuster or netflix. Try and go to used dvd stores they probably would have some for cheap. :-D

I have a large DVD exercise collection, you can do a "try-out" with Netflix, then purchase what you like. I found TurboFire on Ebay for $46.00, much more reasonable than the site or amazon. Or, you can even try www.collagevideo.com, they have good reviews and you can play clips to see what they are like. I look at the review on collage, then do a price comparrison with Amazon, usually a couple of dollars cheaper on Amazon if it is available there.

I get my videos off of ebay or craigslist....ALOT cheaper that the sites the videos originate from. I ordered Turbo Fire yesterday...the whole set typically goes for around $150 including shipping (I think on their site, it was "6 easy payments of $19.95 per month and $25 for shipping)....I picked the same set up for $46.99 (free shipping) on ebay!! Check it out....you might find something good for MUCH cheaper!!

Ok, so those 3 videos are really good, but (and I can only speak for P90x) you have to work your way up to them. Beach Body is where you get P90x and yes, it is expensive because it like 10 or so DVDs in one. There are a few coaches on mfp that may help.

Outside of that, 30 Day Shred by Jillian Michaels is pretty good and only $10 most places, well at my Target. My favorite is my OnDemand. A girl on here recommended it to me and now I am hooked. Depending on the service they have a Health or Fitness channel (mine is called Exercise TV) and they have tons of workouts with varying times that you can do..... all FREE!! So I always have variety which I like, and I work different muscle groups.

    Hope that helped.

Don't buy anything exercise related new, check craigslist or local ads for stuff as people always purchase and then never use. I almost always see P90X around me for half the price, treadmills even less (or free).

Try Bodyrock.tv - it is a website with free workouts that do not require much equipment.

My favorites are "The Firm" dvds. "The Firm: Bootcamp Maximum Calorie Burn." and "The Firm: Total Body Toner."

Another great one I found at the library is "S.W.A.T. Workout: Extreme Weight Loss & Fat Burning." Hopefully you have access to a library so you can check them out for free before buying.
