For you Bodybugg users out there, does your Bodybugg program put you at a higher calorie intake than your MFP program does? If yes, do you know why this is the case and which do you go by? MFP has me on 1500 calories a day but the Bodybugg program has me on 1700 calories a day as my goal so I'm just trying to get some insight.

Thanks in advance!

Honestly, I mostly go by MFP's intake and then just calculate the extra calories I burn using my bodybugg. I've kinda worked out a formula and so far (for the past 7 weeks) it's worked!

MFP is estimating your BMR whereas your body bug is calculating it so the body bug should be more correct than MFP. MFP assumes every female at your age, height and weight have the same metabolism.

Yea, it definitely makes sense that Bodybugg would be more accurate. I think it just makes me nervous because Bodybugg shows way more calories burned in a day that I had thought and I don't want go by the Bodybugg and end up eating too many calories if it's wrong! Ha

    Thanks for the input!
