A few NSVs (kinda)

I'm counting both of these as NSVs even though their directly related to the scale results too. My workplace has implemented their "summer dress code" meaning that we can wear capris, short sleeves and jeans to work. I've never been one to wear capris very much so I had to go shopping and get some (thank goodness for thrift stores!) I went to my usual size and picked out a couple pair and then thought "what the heck" I'll try a couple pair on a size smaller. Lo and behold, the smaller ones FIT!! And, getting dressed this morning, I thought I dig out my size 14 jeans and try them on and THEY FIT!!! Not obscenely either! I could comfortably wear them to work.

The other NSV relates to the "girls". I need a new bra and the store I always buy them at, Lane Bryant, has a great sale on right now. I haven't changed cup size at all (my husband's happy with the DDs) but I need smaller around. I went in looking for my new size and the salesgirl tells me that they don't carry them that small!!!!!!! If I wanted them, I'd have to order online and have them shipped to the store. What?!?!?!?!?!? I walked out of that store floating on air, not even caring that I'd hadn't bought a thing. Who knew? I couldn't buy what I needed there because they don't stock my "smaller" size. Woohoo!!!

The funny thing is, a few people are starting to notice the weight loss but seem afraid to say anything. That's OK by me. I'M noticing, the SCALE is noticing and my HUSBAND is noticing in a big way. Life is good. Scratch that...

Your post made me laugh because that's how I view clothes as well - does it fit? or does it fit AND I can leave my house in it?
