Runner's nipple? Come on guys, this is serious business! Ouch! I guess it beats the man rack o' sag I had 4 months ago, but wow. Okay, that is all.

Bandaids or nip guards will do the trick. Large or small, lots of guys have this issue.

I bought my boyfriend pasties as a joke for when we ran the San Diego 1/2 marathon! But on a more serious note, he has found that if he wears a tight-ish wife beater underneath his tshirt when he runs, it doesnt rub his nipples raw like a loose tshirt does! Also, you could consider Vaseline.

Yea that's a drag, used to get that and thigh rash all the time in the Marines; just had to remember to use lotion on my inner thighs before running. Some of the other posts like bandaids or vaseline would probably help too.

Thanks, someone else told me surf wax would work. Crazy stuff, but I guess getting them pierced now is out :)
  • I started to wear a really tight vest under my shirt, has done the trick. Wish someone had told me!

no shirt = no sore nipples  And less washing. It's win/win!

I think this is my favorite topic today ;-). I'd definitely recommend bandaids or something along those lines to cover the nipples! :-D

Follow Up: I ran 4 miles today and I tried the Band Aid suggestion. This worked well, but I did not factor for hair upon removal. Owwwwwwww!!!!!
