Hi guys,
I am having some trouble with my ankles. Looking for some effective, low-impact workouts other than swimming. There is no public pool in our area and I have to workout at 4:30 in the morning so the one at the local gym isn't open. I love, love, love Turbo Fire but I think that is where my problems started with all the plyometrics involved. I've tried new shoes, even hightops for more support and I've tried braces. Any help would be appreciated.

How about getting in some yoga or pilates DVD's and doing them at home? Or aybe some Wii fit or low impact aerobics?

I was thinking pilates too. I used to love to do pilates...years ago when I was still limber.

Leslie Sansone's walking workouts are awesome for a low-impact break. I used them for pretty much the same reason, after getting hurt overdoing it at plyometric stuff

How much of a problem are your ankles? Are you able to walk? Or do you need something that you are seated or standing still? Also how are you for being motivated doing something at home on your own (i.e. no DVD) If I gave you some exercises to do to would it help?

    How about cycling?

pilates... core work on the floor...those are your best. You can also "swim" on the floor with weights to get cardio up
