NSV and nervous about...

Had a great NSV (or several of them) this week. I went to a conference with some of my colleagues from across my state. We hadn't seen each other since January, when I was just starting (this round) of trying to lose weight. The greetings I received were just awesome: "Is that really you?" "You are going to blow away" (ya - right - lol). "You look amazing" "Wow!"

WHAT EGO BOOSTERS!!

My first 5K is this Sunday at 7pm. It is just a 5K walk, but I am still kinda nervous about it. I have had four confirmed strokes and think I am ready to take this first step (so to speak) but I guess we will see.
