Ok I know this is a weird request but I am looking for what I would like to call my accountability buddy. Someone that I have check in with on a regular basis. Someone who will hold me accountable for my eating and exercise. Someone who will support me when I need it and also kick me in the reat when I need it. Someone who I will provide the same support to. I'm looking for an all or nothing buddy. I've been struggling to do this on my own and I can't. I do well for awhile and then I fall back in old habits and then I kick myself for falling into old habits and so i start to do well again only to fall back into old habits. I kind of feel like a hampster on a wheel. I know I need to lose weight. The desire is there but for some reason I still keep falling short and perhaps if I have someone that will hold me accountable it would help. Anybody interested?

I could use the same. I've been good with my eating...it's the exercise I slack on. Feel free to friend me if you want and we can chat!

I can use an accountability buddy too. I've got the same problem. Feel free to friend me if you would like to, two brains is better than one when fighting those recurring issues...

    hello,

I can be your buddy! :-) I am 28 years old, from PA and i have about 60 lbs to lose. i've been on this site on since last fall but i haven't really lost any weight because i constantly overeat. (i LOVE food!) i have been making a concerted effort to get back on track though. i want to be healthy again and feel pretty. my dad suffers from diabetes also and i don't want to end up like that. plus i am in two weddings next year and i don't want to feel like a whale! :-)

feel free to friend me, and make your diary public! :-)
  • Well, I have several accountability buddies. I post my weight on my Facebook every morning (spare the the "weighing everyday is bad" speech) so people can know that I'm literally working my *kitten* of or they'll know when I'm slacking. I could definitely use a friend who is going through the same thing as me. Add me!

Thanks so much everyone!! I think i added everyone or sent a request. If I missed you please let me know. Now don't be afraid to kick me in my butt if you see I have not exercised in awhile or if my diary doesn't say "completed her food diary AND stayed under her calories"!
