Converting steps to minutes?

Is there any way to convert steps walked during the day to minutes exercised? I'm a nurse and work 12 hour shifts, so on the days I work I don't exercise, although I walk a lot. Yesterday I walked over 19,000 steps. I'd love to get some "credit" for it. Any ideas? Thanks!

  • You can go into your settings and change your lifestyle to active or whatever the choice is there. I think that helps.

Good idea...and I would probably do it if I worked more than 3 days a week. But I think I have quite a few calories already (1700) so I better just stick with what I have. I just have to be more careful on work days not to go over my calorie budget.

Good question. I hope someone has an answer about converting steps. Isn't 10,000 steps a day recommended? I would like a way of tracking them on here.
