So i filled out the goals (not customized but recommended) and i opted for the 2 lb a week loss. Why when i save it does it only show a 1.3 loss per week goal??? Also, i have gotten notifications twice (each time i lost 10 lbs) about automatically recalculating my goals and i hit yes but it does not seem like anything changes......help please??

Honestly I hate those numbers that pop up at the bottom they arent exactly the most accurate. From your ticker you have a decent amount to lose so you arent in the range where losing 2lbs a week would make you go under 1200 cals. I wouldnt worry unless you stop losing. And sometimes you dont need a reset in goals when you lose 10 or 20 lbs. MFP offers it because as you get closer to your goal (less to lose) some people need a greater reduction in calories. Most people with 100+ to lose ont start out at 1200 cals a day to lose 2 lbs a week, they start out higher, so as they lose their caloric needs change0

It won't let you go below 1200 calories per day. So, if your 2 pound per week goal brings your calories below 1200 per day it just sets them at 1200 and calculates what the loss would be. If you want to go less than 1200 you need to select the "custom" option.0
