Hello Everyone, I'm new to this site. A good friend of mine told me about this site.

I used to do weight watchers which was working, I guess you could say as long as I stuck to the plan, but I went in for surgery so lost all motivation to working out and doing the while "diet" thing.

It's hard for me to get the motivation to go to the gym and do stuff, I have a lot of medical problems which I guess is a down fall for me.

I'm 24 years old 5’1" and weigh 168lbs. This is the heaviest I've ever weighed in my life and it kills me to look at myself in the mirror to see all the weight I've gained.

If anyone could give me any type of idea on what would be the best way to lose weight, would be very helpful.

The weight that I carry isn't on the upper half of my body, it’s in my butt and thighs. :(

Thanks again for reading and for any comments you leave! :)

    Welcome aboard!!!!

My suggestion is to stick with cardio. I know its hard but the key element is to take one day at a time and make small goals.:smile:

    Hi

I just joined yesterday after a year of being on Weight Watchers. Good Luck.

As for best way to lose weight I find making sure I cardio has been the biggest key for me. I find when I get in a Cardio work out I'm less likely to eat unhealthy food.
I know its hard to make it to the gym but I found a big motivator for me is to get one or two close friends to sign up for a 5k that is a couple months out. Having a event I'm working toward makes it easier to convince myself to make it to the gym.

    I'm new also!

    My advice:
    Exercise daily no matter what.
Make time for yourself because utlimately that is what living healthy is about.
Do it for YOU & no one else!
You will feel better physically & better about yourself every day!

Take it one day at a time & you will succeed.
