ROW the WORLD - shipmates needed!

Row the World challenge for July 1st - I need a crew or a ship to join! Anyone have a ship I can join or want to start a new one? I guess I could be a captain, but not totally sure about what all I have to do...

I'm new to this concept but it sounds really great! Anyone wanting to join me send me a friend request. Also post on here some ideas for a team name.

Ok we are running a game on MFP starting on the1st of July !

We already have some captains getting their crews together !

Max number of people to a boat is 15 people.

if you wish to register a team, please pick a captain and give yourself a boat name and get your crew sorted!
I will email the captains a spread sheet that they can send to all of their team member. Team members will then log their Cals burned each day.
The sheet will convert this in to miles. The Captain will get the total miles from their team to post on the thread.

IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW YOU BURN CALS !!!! as long as you burn !

if you already are sorting a crew can you log your name here so i can track who is playing !!

This is not meant to be one of those times where it was like a school and picking the last person at sports !

    I'll be on your team too. I am on holidays from June 30 - July 10th. We are heading out to our cabin which is remote and doesn't have a phone / internet signal so I won't be able to post any of those workouts till the 11th but if that is ok - count me in. There will be lots of waterskiing, kneeboarding, swimming and walking to add. Not to mention the steep hill we have to climb everytime we need to go to the beer fridge :-)

    Just so I don't cheat, are we counting the total amount we burn in a day or our deficit after we eat our calories? IE if I burn 2200 in a day just being me and working out and eat 1200 calories, would my entry be 2200 or 1000? Sorry if this is a stupid question! I'm just wondering!

    @kerriknox - I'm not toally sure how the whole spreadsheet thing works, but we'll count yours one way or another. If you have nothing for that week, we'll just add them to the next week. I've counted you in:smile:

    Well, I mean, I burn 2270 just being me, at sedentary....generally I add in there another 500 calories for exercise 6 days per week. So my report will probably be 2770 per day then? I'm sorry, your shock at my total burn confused me more, lol! My net calories, after I factor in the calories I consume, is more like 1000 so I can reach my 2 pound per week goal. I put blond highlights in a few weeks ago - it is quite possible I'm having a moment! :)

    Ohhh...man I'm dumb I must've read that wrong.:tongue: No, we're talking strictly calories from exercise count. So 500. Which is still a good solid number:smile:
