So i keep getting new and exciting workout ideas or programs and i follow them for about a week and then crash again... i just want to be healthy and fit! I work full-time and by time i get off i cook dinner and just want to relax at home with my boyfriend. Should i start workin out in the morning? when do most of you guys work out? is it better to work out in the morning? do you guys stick to a schedule? any advice would be great!! Thanks!

If you can do it in the morning to get it over with. Have you tried 30 day shred? It is only 25 minutes and you are finished you can burn 200-ish calories in that time and it works you muscles.0

Make a committment to yourself to work out three or more times a week for six weeks. By the end of that time you should have a schedule down and be able to keep it as it will then be a habit. Good luck to you and keep trying!0

I workout during my lunch hour. It helps give me that boost for the second half of the day and I get my workout done so when I get off I can cook dinner, pick up my son, and relax the rest of the evening.0

I generally workout at night as I am NOT a morning person at all!!! However I have decided to get up 3 times a week to do 30 Day Shred or use my elliptical for 20 minutes. So far so good! I do Zumba, use my elliptical, or d other exercise dvds at night throughout the week. I don't have a set schedule except for classes I go to. I vary what I do so it doesn't get to be routine!0

If it's hard for you to stick to an "exercise routine"... make it more fun and start off slowly. Due to an injury, I can barely do a workout without pain or discomfort. I've had to rely solely on my diet and include some walking for the exercise. Looking back at it now, I didn't lose weight very quickly when I was working out like crazy. It's only after I had to put the brakes on and focus on the types of food I was eating, that I lost nearly 10 pounds in 3 weeks.
After dinner, why don't you and your boyfriend go for a nice walk together for 20-30 minutes? Hold hands, talk, take nature photos, etc. It's amazing what just walking around will do for your metabolism. Practice 80% diet and 20% exercise... it may keep you from burning out. Once you start dropping weight and feeling more fit and energetic, start adding in weight training and more cardio.
Just a thought. Good luck!0 -
I prefer working out in the morning. That way it's done and I can get on with my day, plus I feel great the whole day. I consider it the first appointment of my day.0
