Successful Dieting Begins With Positive Affirmations

Just came across this today.. Very good read (MUST) read

Anyone who is courageous enough to commit to a diet program is entitled to a little help now and then. I find that positive affirmations play a huge part to my success. I've gathered some of the ones that help me, in hopes that you might find them helpful, too.

1. I eat healthy foods.

2. I only eat when I am hungry.

3. I enjoy eating my meals.

4. I taste every morsel and savor the delicious flavors.

5. I stop eating before I am full.

6. I wait for 10 minutes before going back for seconds.

7. I enjoy sitting down with others to eat.

8. I make each meal a celebration of food.

9. I eat to live, not live to eat.

10. My next meal is only a couple of hours away.

11. I drink eight to ten glasses of water every day.

12. I have very few cravings because I eat every two to three hours.

13. I eat fruit when I want something sweet.

14. Vegetables taste really good.

15. I wait until I have tasted my food with three bites before adding extra salt.

16. I am aware of my food weaknesses.

17. My goal to lose weight is more important than my food craving.

18. I aim for five to seven servings of fruits and veggies every day.

19. I eat protein at every meal.

20. I eat foods that give my body energy.

21. I eat foods that make me pretty.

22. I avoid fried foods.

23. I avoid alcohol or limit it to weekends.

24. I love sitting down to a meal with my family.

25. I love to cook healthy meals.

26. I look forward to dining out even when I am dieting.

27. I am losing weight every week.

28. I love to look at my changing body in the mirror.

29. My clothes fit better because I watch what I eat.

30. I am getting slimmer every day.

Begin each day with positive affirmations and gratitude in your heart. If you allow your self a few minutes each day to reflect on all that you have to be thankful for and repeat as many affirmations as you like, there won't be any room for negativity. As many times as needed, reaffirm your belief in yourself, by taking time out to read over and when possible repeat your affirmations aloud. Remember to achieve it, you must first believe it.
