So, I am completely on the "you are what you eat" train! Abs and weight loss definately comes from the kitchen....however what if you have no time to cook or if you are just cooking dumb? If I bought a Cooking for Dummies book I would just use it as a coaster, seeing as how cooking dumb I am! I was eating Lean Cuisines and Smart Ones frozen dinners, but I am so sick of that stuff. Someone please help me haha! Any ideas for breakfasts, lunches and dinners that are easy and by easy I mean a 10 year old could make it. I have literally been eating sandwiches, eggs, and frozen dinners.... then I eventually want real food and I go to buffalo wild wings or something crazy... HELP

Breakast smoothies are so easy and yummy - here are a couple of my faves!

    Mixed Berry Smoothie

1 cup frozen mixed berries (raspberries, blueberries & strawberries)
1/2 - 1 cup low-fat milk or unsweetened almond milk

    Voila!

    Bit o' Honey smoothie
    1T peanut butter
    1T honey
    1 banana
1 cup low-fat milk or unsweetended almond milk

    Banana Mango Smoothie
    1 banana
    1/2c frozen mango
    1/2 - 1c low-fat milk or unsweetened almond milk

For lunches, I almost always do salad...but, here's some easy tricks to keep it interesting.
    On a lazy Sunday afternoon/evening:
Broil 2-3 chiken breasts and cut into bite-sized pieces to put on your salad
Hard boil some eggs and cut them up for your salad
Buy some frozen strawberries, thaw about 1c of them in warm water, chop and add to a spinach & almond salad

Dinner is a bit more difficult if you're looking for easy and not boring. I do a lot of chicken breasts with different spices or marinades. Steam some fresh or frozen veggies, add some minute (brown) rice and you have dinner.
I also like tilapia - it's so mild and tender. I Google a lot of recipes and have been able to find some really quick and simple ideas.

Snacks - I am the snack queen!

    Flatbread, hummus & sliced cucumbers
    Fresh fruit
    Veggie chips
Carrots, celery, broccoli, cauliflower with hummus

The best advise I can give you is to take an hour or so every Sunday to prepare your snacks - cut the veggies and put them into snack-sized bags so their ready when you want them. Pre-cook some meals and throw them in the freezer for later in the week. Stay away from pre-packaged frozen meals - they are full of all kinds of nasty stuff like sodium. The more you can do at home, the healthier your food will be.

Good luck on all of your goals!
