Any Disney Cast Members?

I work at one of the Walt Disney World theme parks, and it is so hard to avoid temptation when you are surrounded by Mickey Bars, popcorn, turkey legs, the Earl of Sandwich, and dozens of other tempting treats! Being that Disney does not post nutritional information, it is a bit of a struggle, as visiting the parks isn't a rare occasion where I can afford to splurge. When friends and family visit, I normally escort them to the parks, and it is hard to refrain from partaking in all of the treats with them. Any other Disney Cast Members out there who know the feeling? If so, it might be fun to get a group together and come up with some reliable, smart choices. . .maybe even a few Disney related challenges!

I'm not a cast member but I have 5 friends that are working or have worked for Disney. One of them was Cinderella or Alice and apparently the Disney princesses are really treated well at work.

as with any food related job its about small bites. Im going to culinary school and you want to talk about indulging it is so hard but a friend told me small bites not whole dishes and its worked I can enjoy but not over do it. I end up adding 200 calories to my total at the end of the day hard to figure a bite here and there

I too wish I was a cast member. The commute from NY to Florida is just too much. I hope you find some cast members!

Have you considered working with our animal programs department at Animal Kingdom? You'd get the best of both worlds.

I actually have! Before I got accepted into vet school, I was talking with the Animal Kingdom about some undergrad internships (in case I didn't get into any school)... I ended up getting into a school so the internship was out. But when I do my rotations during my fourth year, I may definitely have to try to hook up with the Animal Kingdom again. I definitely agree that it would be the best of both worlds!

I considered that as well, as I'm a Vet Tech Student. I wish I was a Disney cast member. I love going there! And I have some cousins who live 30 minutes from Orlando. It's soooo tempting, but I know the boyfriend wouldn't move all the way over there (we're from Louisiana) :(
