Hey guys! Just started today and I'm really excited about keeping track of my calories and getting to my target weight! Any tips or strategies anyone can help me out with??

Welcome and Good Luck.
Educate yourself on healthy eating and recipes. There are so many sites, just google it.
Take it slow and Try to stay away from processed and fast foods. Cook as close to natural as you can and watch PORTIONS. Buy a food scale, I use mine everyday. Drink lots of water. Lots of fresh veggies and fruits, low carb whole grain breads, pasta and rice. Fresh lean meats and fish, beans. If you use canned foods get no sodium. Did I say PORTION CONTROL!
