Sniffles after running?!

I live in South Africa and right now its winter...that is why I am confused as to why after I run I have allergy like symptoms...sniffles, sneezing...any other reason as to why this would happen or is it allergies?! What can i do to help it?

Hmmmmm. Well here where I live its summertime and I still get a runny nose sometimes after running. I'm no Dr. or expert but I do think it is allergies and sinuses. However I could only imagine how much worse it would be in the wintertime. My suggestion? Keep your immune system in A-1. Take in vitamin C to the max along with a great multivitamin and fuel your body well. Congrats on running in the wintertime, that is great!!0

The extra blood pumping around your body also stimulates the sinus cavity. It happens to me too and it doesn't matter what time of the year it is :happy:
If you have really really chilli hot food a similar effect occurs.
If it's sneezing and allergy like symptoms beyond the simple runny nose, it could be that the stimulation is setting off your allergic response?0
