Search the forums (and google - lots of them have user-submitted star ratings which helps) for slow-cooker and crock pot recipes.
Easy, yummy stuff out there!0 -
Add some veggies in there too. Garlic makes a dish like that pop.0

What you shared with the Cream of Mushroom soup sounds simple and quick and easy. I buy the low sodium type cream soups as the original are HIGH in sodium.
Also when you have a few moments check the search feature for chicken Crockpot recipes, there's all types there, some with only a few ingredients, some with a bit.
Salsa Chicken is one listed and it's very delicious and ohhh so easy!
You can also go simple and use low sodium chicken broth with the chicken breasts, some dump some salsa on top of chicken breasts and cook them that way.
So many many ways...just getting online to have to think a bit and then I'll add more ideas for you.:flowerforyou:0 -

Hello,
I love making crock pot chicken. One low cal recipe I use is
Chicken Breasts
Enchilada Sauce
Green chilis or Jalapeno's, if desired
Once cooked drain add a bit more encilada sauce and shred
I use this in little corn tortillas for tacos,
make a dish of enchilada's with cheese only on top.
or the reduced fat crescent rolls-roll up a bit of the chicken and bake.0 -
so glad youre going to try it....you will love it....super easy0

1 large onion (chopped)
1 medium green pepper (chopped)
3 cloves of garlic (or a tsp of pre-minced)
1 tbsp of olive oil
1 small can of tomato paste
2 cups of water
1 large bay leaf
.5 tsp of cumin
1/4 tsp salt
small can of peas (optional)
In crock pot add tomato paste, water, olive oil and cumin stir till combined
add the rest of the ingredients (except peas)and cover and let cook for a few hours the chicken will fall apart
add the peas about 5 mins before serving, (just enough time in to let them get good and hot) serve over white/brown/ or yellow rice (yummy)0 -

1/2 C Soy Sauce, 4 Packets of Splenda, 1 Clove chopped Garlic, and 1-2 small diced onions. Makes a Teryaki-like chicken. (2-4 Breasts)
Lipton Onion Soup mix, and a tad bit of water. Onion Chicken. (4-6 breasts)
Hunts no sugar added tomato sauce, mushrooms. Serve with mozzarella cheese melts on top. (4-6 breasts)
Taco Seasoning Packet, 1 jar of Salsa. (4-6 breasts)
ff Italian dressing or the seasoning packets you can find in the spice isle work great with some veggie or chicken stock to wet it down. Plus the packets tend tobe less calories than a marinade or something.
All cook for minimum 6 hours on low, I usually do 8 or so, sometimes longer.
The chicken recipes that make a lot, I portion out into freezer bags, date them, and I can thaw them later for meals on the run.0 -

Curried chicken breast with veggies:
*4 chicken breasts
*1 onion, sliced
*1 zucchini or other squash, sliced
*1/2 can of garbanzo beans
*2-3 large carrots, sliced
*1.5 tablespoons of spicy curry powder (I prefer green, and I also use more but I like it really concentrated and spicy- add to taste)
*1/2 table spoon of ginger
*1 crushed chicken boullion cube
*enough water to cover the chicken, or if you can spare the calories, add some coconut milk.
Serve plain or over brown rice. Yum!0 -
