How should I track work?

I work in a hospital on a surgical floor. Needless to say I walk during my whole 8th shift. There are points when I have to sit and chart but I am back on my feet only after a few mins. If time allows I take more trips to the clean utility room than nessarry to add more walking in to my night. I also walk up and down 3 flights of stairs each time I work at least 2 times.
What do you guys think? How should I track my work night. The days I work I have to eat more because of the calories burned I wonder how I can track on paper (or the internet)? Would just putting 7.5 hour of walking be fine or would that be too much. Hummmm?
Thanks for some input.

You should put that you have a very active lifestyle and then NOT track work as your exercise. It will give you more calories and your goals will be different. Just to to settings and you change it.0

You don't, you change your lifestyle to active. You then only add extra strenuous exercise that you don't do everyday.0

Yeah too much, make your activity setting high....or sed and wear a HRM for a day to get an idea of what you burn.0

I say no to tracking work. Your body is already accustomed to this and MFP takes your activity level into account when you do your profile. Exercise is anything you do above and beyond your normal activity level.
I'm on my feet 8 hours a day, moving constantly but if I logged that and my exercise there is no way I could eat that many calories back.
Just my opinion.
