We live in a college town, and the I've always taken the kids trick or treating through the dorms. It's warm (we have had some very cold and snowy Halloweens), it's safe, the college kids love it, and our kids love it too!

Off topic, sort of, but how old is too old to trick or treat? My 15 year old is still wanting to go... He's 6 feet tall now, but still loves the free candy. lol

I have no clue...But personally, when the older kids come to the door (usually way too late at night) I get annoyed. We had some kids come to our door well after 9:00 PM last year. And my DH opened the door for them??? HU??? Grrrrr...

ok maybe its just me... and if it is i'm putting it down to the fact we dont have halloween in australia... but i dont get it... at all:noway:

    ahh haaa haahahahahahahahahah

It's not a Halloween joke...But more of a play on words. Read it again, look for a stupid but obvious answer more in a riddle sort of way. LOL Good luck. It's more of such a stupid thing, I had to share. :blushing:

My older kids were more into Halloween parties by the time they were 11 and 12, than they were going trick-or-treating. My youngest is now 8yrs. old and I think he would even be a bit embarrassed to be out there going door-to-door asking people for candy once he hits 10yrs. old. I say if a child is old enough to earn money (little side jobs like mowing someones lawn, taking care of someones cat while they're away, etc...), then he/she is definitely too old to go trick-or-treating. Just my opinion though.

Just rented the "Bouncy House" for our church's Fall Festival on Halloween and I GOT THE ONE THAT LOOKS LIKE A DRAGON! How cool is that!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's HUGE! I can't wait, I can't wait--and we got the popcorn machine along with the cotton candy! AWESOME!
