Thursday my diary said I'd weigh 141 in 5 weeks. Today it said I'd weigh 144.5 in 5 weeks. My intake numbers are pretty much the same for both of those days. So does that mean I ate like crap today since it's telling me I'd weigh more than the other day? What gives?

Did you eat 350 more calories today than thursday? The other reason would be if you weighed yourself yesterday or this morning and had a small increase in weight, thus giving today's number a higher starting point.

you had more carbs, fat, and sugar and less protein and calories today. it all factors in... the sugar maybe?

Hmm, I guess so. I would think that I'd have to eat horribly and way over my calorie range for it to suggest I'd weigh 3 more lbs than it suggested a few days ago! Gahhhh.
  • Maybe that other day you burned more calories through exercise. The net calories give you the indication of how much you'll weigh in 5 weeks time. Also, between that other day and today, your weight might have been different. The amount of weight you lose changes at difference weights because the BMR changes as well
