Hey Guys,
Fairly new to this, looking for some advice on exercise routines that can be done at home with little equipment (i have weights and a skipping rope!). I'm also looking for something pretty low cost.
Any suggestions would be great.

Bare minimum - 2 sets of 20 push ups and squats every day. You can do this in 5 minutes while the kettle's boiling and it gives a very quick upper and body exercise.0

Have a look on exercisetv.tv. then enter free workouts in the search bar, they have loads to choose from, different styles and ranging from a few minutes to 45 minutes, better still all free. good luck xx0

I can remember the years (up until I was 16) that I was doing Karate and could do 100 push ups without breaking a sweat, now I can barely do 2! Definatley like the idea of being able to do them again.0

Do you have DVD player at home? If so then try some workout videos that can be done at home. There are variety like taebo, dances such as hiphop, latin or belly dancing. Personally I love to dance and I have those dance video workouts at home that I'm using as my cardio aerobics.0

I do Insanity and you need ZERO equipment to do this workout program...but you better be prepared to sweat you *kitten* off. LOL0

Casseh, if you have cables and On Demand, check with your cable company to see if they carry Exercise TV. They have some good workouts. If you don't, then you can go to Exercise TV website and find a lot of free workouts to do. You will have to watch them on your computer.
If you shop at the Dollar Tree, check to see if they have some workouts there. I have bought some Exercise TV 30 minute workouts there, as well as other workout workouts. You can't be workouts for $1.00 each.
If you don't have a Dollar Tree, check your library. They should have some workout you can check out. If your library has some Leslie Sansone Walk Off The Pound, etc. workouts check them out. They are good.0 -
My home exercise mostly consists of workout dvds. If I remember correctly, Jillian Michael's 30-day shred just requires weights and commitment on your part. I also like Mr Motivator. Rosemary Conley is alright for lower energy exercise, too.
Here are a few sites that might help you get back into doing a hundred pushups etc- they give you a programme that will help you gradually and safely build up to your goal.

I really enjoy the Leslie Sansone walk at home video's. There are 3 ,4, and 5 mile videos. They are great, always come in handy esp with inclement weather in the Midwest. I enjoy the comfort of my own home. They are at Walmart or Target for $10-$12 dollars each. They are wonderful. It's more than walking as you get upper body workouts as well.0

I workout at home too. No gym membership for me!
I recommend lots of walking in your neighborhood, following along with workouts on YouTube (search Yoga 30 minutes to find a few 30-min yoga routines and also search Tone It Up to find the page of 2 personal trainers who do some awesome workouts on YouTube... also there's lots of Zumba videos on there too!), and renting workout DVDs from your library. The 30 Day Shred is one a lot of people love on here.0
