Asda Wholewheat Fusilli Pasta, 100g = 28.3g Carb; 148kcal
http://groceries.asda.com/asda-estore/search/searchcontainer.jsp?trailSize=1&searchString=wholewha&domainName=Products&headerVersion=v1&_requestid=22857
Tesco Wholewheat Fusilli Pasta 100G = 62.2g Carb; 320kcal

Surely this cannot be right, same product (well almost) but varies greatly in Kcal and Carbs.

The Asda packet is talking about cooked weight.
If you used Tesco, weigh it before cooking and if Asda weigh after cooking?
I know sounds a bit stupid.
Also does the same apply to chicken? I weigh it after cooking and base the values on that.0 -
Yes, the Tesco pasta is dry weight. If you look at the nutrition information on the back of packets it should tell you whether the values are for cooked weight.. The info for meat is usually uncooked.0
