Off the top of your head, does anyone know of high carb foods besides pasta. I need a lot of calories now, and eating a half pound of pasta isn't something I feel like doing every day. Carbs is the only category of food where I seem to fall short every day.

What a great position to be in. I would love to be able to gorge on calories. You can eat potatoes, breads, cereals, rice.

Pure sugar will yield the highest carb-per-ounce. But remember that carbs aren't calorie dense. They're 4 cals per gram, just like protein. Fat is 9 cals per gram. If you need to add calories, peanut butter is a great choice. You'll get protein, some carbs, really heart-healthy fats, and some fiber. Stick with natural, though, to cut out any trans fats.
