Chaffing on guys...and maybe the ladies, too!

I wear the dri-fit or 'wicking' clothing designed for cardio exercise. But still, I have a problem with...how do I put this delicately....nipple chaffing. To the point that my shirt shows blood when i'm done. I was an avid runner, until I had both knees replaced over the last couple of years, and wore racing singlets then. The Academy Sports and ****'s sports stores don't carry them now. What's everyone using to stop this issue?

Some people mentioned taping them. Not sure how that works with hair.0

I get bad chaffing if I don't wear something cotton against my skin.0

Bought my husband Body Glide, it looks like a tube of deodorant, and was fairly inexpensive at one of our local outdoor stores!0

small little band aids works every time but, it you don't take them off after you look like a tool bag walking around the locker room with em on, another good one is Body Glide it looks like deodorant, you get it at the sports stores in the exercise area0

very cool product!0 -
I use Body Glide. You can find it in just about any store. So far I haven't had a single issue with the nipple chaffing since I started using it. It costs about $5 and comes in what looks like a small deodorant container. It's usually in the aisle near the supplements and stuff.
Good luck! I hate that feeling!0 -
White athletic tape for when I run past 10 miles. If I am running that far, I'm not concerned with looking GQ.
God blessed me with a fur coat for the winters but the athletic tape holds well enough until hot water and soap hit the tape in the shower afterwards.

Thanks for all the help, folks!! After reading these, I went to Academy Sports and picked up a tube of Body Glide. From all the input, it sounds like it will do the trick. I'll find out tomorrow. Way cheaper than a new wardrobe, too. That's what I like about MFP, if you run into a problem with diet or exercise, usually someone else has had it too. And maybe they've solved the problem in a more creative manner than I can come up with.0

also there are nipple daisy's that you will find in any bra section. you put them on like a bandaid...not all sticky, but covers the whole area...might work.0
