Question about dry beans

Okay so I found some dried bean soup mix that I can actually have a full serving of, which is amazing for me because I am doing the low carb thing and beans are usually not something I can eat. The problem is that the serving size is 1/4 of a cup dry, but I live with my family so I'm making the whole bag. So how much bean soup cooked equals 1/4 of a cup dry? I HATE when packages do this!

Any helpful advice is welcome!

I would look at how many servings is says per bag and then when it is cooked divide it into that many servings and you can have one. I know its not perfectly accurate but sometimes that estimate is the best you can do.

Take the water you add in cups + the amount of dry mix cups = amount. Divide the total amount of cups by number of servings (what the package says) and that will give you a serving size.

Usually for me, the beans double. So a 1/4 cup dry= 1/2 cup cooked. Hope that helps!
