Still a long way to go but...

So, it's been 11 weeks since I decided "ENOUGH!" and started living a more healthy life. I have lost 2st 5lb since then, am wearing smaller clothes, know I look and feel better, have bags more energy, and have had a couple of friends commenting on how well I am doing.
But the best bit so far was today, visiting friends, playing in the garden with their children and my daughter, when the kids turned on me with water pistols I was able to run! And then get a watering can and chase them! Now I know it's not that big a deal to chase 2 x 4 year olds about the garden, and I'm not saying I looked great doing it, but I did it. And didn't feel ridiculous. And didn't collapse afterwards. And enjoyed it so much I went back for more! I'm sure I couldn't have done it 11 weeks back, and it was a real treat to be able to play like that with my daughter, have her yelling with laughter. Sure it's fantastic to see the scales moving, but this really reminded me of one of the big reasons I'm doing this.
