Desk job, but workout 6-7 days/week. Sedentary?

hi

Just wondering about my settings. I initially had my settings at "sedentary" for my activity level because I am stuck behind a desk 5 days a week. But I exercise daily, usually approx 50 mins (+/-) per session. Should I still be set at sedentary? I notice there is a big calorie difference between sedentary and lightly active.

What to do, what do.......

Thx =)

    You should set yourself at sedentary then log the calories you burn during your workouts.

    Yep, everyone here is steering you right on this. It bugs me too. I sit at a desk all day but run my *kitten* off 5 days a week, but I'm "sedentary". But it's just a setting. :o)

    Normal is only a setting on a dryer. I saw that on a book once. I know what you mean about the sedentary setting. It makes me feel like myfitnesspal thinks I'm lazy. LOL.
