Ok....i need help because i weighed yesterday and i lost 4 pounds. But when i weighed today and it says i gained 3 pounds. That's wierd because i don't think i would gain that much weight in less than 24 hours. Whats also wierd is that i didn't go over my calorie limit today either. I could REALLY use some clarification!!!!....Thanks!!!!

Weight flucuates daily due to water weight. That's why they say to weight yourself once a week. I weighed myself daily once and get discouraged because I would gain and lose 2 or more pounds each time. I would stick to once a week and maybe cut back on salt!

I don't know man, but I have the same issue. I'm thinking it could be related to electrolytes, like sodium.

How much sodium did your consume, and did you drink less water than normal?

Sodium is definitely a weight-breaker. Always try to weigh yourself first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, preferably after a good morning urination. That is the closest to your "true" weight. But also try to drink as much water as you can throughout the day. I know for me, I can fluctuate as much as 10 lbs in any given day, depending on when I weigh and what I'm wearing.

I believe 2-3%fluctuation for an active male isprobably normal.
