15lbs down with still a way to go but celebrating the change

I started my journey here 16 days ago. I was big and unhappy. I have some big back issues (pinched nerve, slipped disc) and my weight was making them worse among some other things...it was just time to change. In 15 days I lost 15lbs. It was not easy but when I do things its all or nothing and I hope the rest goes this well. My ultimate goal is to lose 75lbs. I plan on taking pics every 20lbs to keep myself motovated but tonight I put on the shirt I had put on 15lbs ago and saw a big change and couldn't resist. Oh and please excuse my no makeup scary face!
These are the major changes I did to go 15lbs in 15 days...
I cook every meal and every snack that goes into my body so I know exactly how I am fueling it
I consume very minimal if any sugars (that aren't natural in fruits ect) ever
I drink at least 10 cups of water a day and nothing besides water
I exercise daily at least an hour whether it be even just walking... I MOVE.
The last few days my kids and I made a pact to swim every day and have.... for at least 2hrs a day which is great for my back!
I try to take at least 10k steps a day even if that means walking up and down the halls
I eat a minimum of 1200 cals a day and usually no more than 1500 but I decided I will NEVER starve myself. If my body says I'm hungry I fuel it but with the good stuff.
Ummm...I can't think of anything else off the top of my head but I'm so excited by the small changes I see so far. I haven't felt this good or whole in a long time. This is a change for life and I want to do it the right way.
Thanks for reading if you actually got through my rambles!

A pound a day? Is that healthy? How in the WORLD did you do that? That means you burned more then 3500 then the cals. you ate in a day...0

Ok I give up on how to post my pics, if someone could please help me I'd appreciate it.
Tina: I wrote how I did it. It must be healthy for me because I am doing it the right way and its what I lost so far. I'm not looking for a quick fix, this is a life change.. if I lost 2 lbs in 2 weeks I'd be just as happy.0 -
Good for you!!!! Just be safe doing it.....we don''t want you to get sick losing it. This is such a NSV (non scale victory). You have certainly inspired me as I also have severe back problems!!! Hugs and good luck.

I haven't posted picks on here so I can't help you with that, but your doing great! It sounds like your eating sensibly and working out with 5 mile walks per day or more! That's definitely the way to do it! Congratulations on your loss!0

At first I didn't think there was anyway losing that fast was healthy, but you are doing everything right that's so great your body is responding so well and you have a positive attitude about working at losing weight. Keep it up!!!! =]0

It probably has a lot to do with the fact I drank a lot of beer and soda daily as well. I believe a lot was detox/water weight. Hell if next week I lose nothing I could care less. This was about gaining my life back and I'll take what comes my way.0

Hopefully this will bring up the photos. You want to use the IMG but change it to img in the brackets... well some of them worked.0 -

Soda and beer probably had a little if not alot to do with it. I started on 6/20 (six days ago) and I quit the pepsi, I lost five pounds so far. I am ranging about 1200 calories a day also and doing about an hour to an hour and half of interval training and walking/jogging. I was really impressed with my five pounds so I completely understand your enthusiasm with 15!! Keep up the good work!!!0
