chips and salsa - 70 calories
Just came up with this recipe last weekend when I was craving chips. Everyone loved them!
1 whole wheat pita (I used Joseph's - Flax, Oat Bran, & Whole Wheat Pita Bread)
2 Tbsps of Salsa (I used Tostitos All Natural - Chunky Salsa Medium)
Using a pizza cutter, cut up one pita into chip-sized pieces, separate the layers, place them on a cookie sheet and toast them until slightly brown. They burn very fast, so watch it closely. The chips will get crispy after they cool off. Serve with 2 tbsps of salsa.
60 calories for the pita and 10 calories for 2 tbsps of salsa.
Enjoy!
